Choose from Canoes, Kayaks, Tubes or Rafts, the river will carry you safely downstream to your waiting car at the livery. No schedules to keep, or bus to catch.
Take as long as you want while picnicking, swimming or just enjoying the relaxing float down the river. There are plenty of sand bars for swimming, and natural spots to get out and relax.
The Manistee River is the most unspoiled natural river in the lower peninsula, and has become the place for superior canoeing, and camping along it’s banks. You don’t need experience to canoe the river, there are no dangerous rapids and it is very family friendly. Always a constant flow, never any portages.
